I never ceased to be amazed at how God's Word speaks to me! He addresses everything in my life from the smallest detail to the most serious event, in a timely manner. He gives counsel, encouragement, rebuke and (most of all) love to every moment, in every day, as I seek Him!
Today, is the eve of what Facebook would call a "Life Event" for me! A monumental decision I've made; a commitment of life changing proportions. I've shared with some of you what I embark on, and have found your responses interesting. I greatly appreciate the love and encouragement, I've received!
Yesterday, during a slump in my scheduling, my continual reading of my Bible had me in the wilderness where Jesus is being tested. This morning I pick back up and He is accepting His Ministry. Wow!
I read on:
“And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country.” Luke 4:24 KJV
And I end on:
“And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.” Luke 5:10b KJV
Bawling through my reading, the significance of these scriptures at this time in my life, is not lost. You may call it coincidence - I call it a God moment!
I'm not sure what the odds are for this reading to be right here, on this day, but I have friends who would be prompting me to buy a lottery ticket!!!
I do know with certainty, God is always right there with just the Word I need, WHEN I need it!
Now, it's time for me to leave the shore and get in the boat!

I have fallen at His feet and declared, "depart from me I am a sinful man, Oh Lord!"
And He has said: “Do not be afraid. From now on you will catch men."
So, I'm buying worms and hanging my sign!
