For God So

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”  John‬ ‭3:16-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

“And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.” John‬ ‭3:19-21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Listened to a sermon by Paris Reidhead last night; he was preaching on End Times. He made this statement, " being lukewarm and being deceived go hand in hand!" 

(Rev 3:16 and Mark 13:22) 

"men loved darkness rather than light,"

This is us today! 

We refuse to humble ourselves and submit, for we love our sin more than we love God!

We do not want to give up those things which entertain us; things that satisfy our fleshly desires; so we seek out and listen to those (men and women) who preach what will tickle our ears! We happily go to churches and to conferences and leave assured of our salvation, with no mention of sin or repentance. 

“For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.”

It's painful for our sin to be reproved (or exposed!)

 It hurt Jesus to die for our sins, too! 

Yet, we have believed the lie -

 we should not feel His pain!  

Until we come face to face with what our sins cost God, we are deceived! Only then can true repentance come! Only then can they be forgotten! 

Sin buried in our heart is not sin buried in The LORD Jesus Christ! 

There are no halfway measures with God! It's either all or nothing! He gave His all, and we must too! We must choose to seek Him with our whole heart! Read His Word daily! Let it wash over us and expose the sin and repent!

“But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.”

We must ask God to shine His light and illuminate the dark corners of our heart so that we may repent of the sins we hold so dear! 

Repentance - our only act that causes the Angels to rejoice! All our other deeds are as filthy rags! 

Repent while there is still time!
