What an amazing Scripture! So much in one sentence!
Most when they read, focus on the "faith". What hit me this morning is the "please Him". How many of us really concentrate on pleasing Him? Don't we mostly concentrate on what pleases ourselves?
What pleases God is obedience to His Word. By this we show our love for Him.
The last of the sentence promises a reward for "diligently" seeking Him.
If we love Him, we will diligently seek Him, because we are commanded to do so!
“If ye love me, keep my commandments.”John 14:15 KJV
Pleasing God and seeking God is our hearts desire; for those who are His! A hunger and a thirst for His Word; drawing as near to Him as possible; giving consideration for His commandments as we go about our daily tasks; being His hands and His feet and being led by Him with our every step proves we are His. It is an exhibit to the the world that we have faith in Him. That He is!
They don't KNOW He IS, for they don't KNOW Him!
To KNOW Him is to love Him and obey Him, for He IS God!
We don't do it for the reward. We do it because He IS worthy! He deserves nothing less than our obedience and never ending gratitude!
“That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;” Philippians 3:10 KJV
What He did for me!!!!!
“Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:12-14 KJV
And Jesus said: "And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment."(Mark 12:30 NKJV)

Fall in love with God! Read all of His Word - faithfully; the only way to truly get to know Him! Make Him LORD!
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33 KJV
He is my "reward!”
