“And the children of Israel did secretly those things that were not right against the Lord their God, and they built them high places in all their cities, from the tower of the watchmen to the fenced city. Have we not done the same?
We have adopted the ways of the world; little by little we have accepted other religions practices; new age ways, oils, incense, yoga and we empty our minds allowing demonic influences.
Yet, we believe that we are okay as we worship a god made in our own image; one who loves, accepts, and blesses us without requiring our obedience to The Word.
We do everything BUT what God expects.
You want healing?
You want freedom?
You want peace?
Deal with the sins hiding in your heart!
Repent!
Provision for everything we need is in The Word Of God, however they come with conditions. If we obey . . . then He Will ______! If we don’t obey . . . then He Will _______! It’s all in the book of Deuteronomy and Leviticus! But you must read your Bible to know this! Your denominations will not teach you, for they strayed long ago.
“And they left all the commandments of the Lord their God, and made them molten images, even two calves, and made a grove, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served Baal. And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, and used divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger. Therefore the Lord was very angry with Israel, and removed them out of his sight: there was none left but the tribe of Judah only.” 2 Kings 17:16-18 KJV
Sound familiar? Sounds like the denominations of today.
Where is the fear of The LORD?
“Also Judah kept not the commandments of the Lord their God, but walked in the statutes of Israel which they made. And the Lord rejected all the seed of Israel, and afflicted them, and delivered them into the hand of spoilers, until he had cast them out of his sight.” 2 Kings 17:19-20 KJV
What is heartbreaking is that we don’t even know we are captured! We are so deceived! Yet, we are seeking relief from everything BUT!
How do I know? I was there! I exhausted every avenue looking for healing and in desperation finally turned to God with my whole heart in repentance! I began reading my Bible (from cover to cover; every page) and was convicted of my sin. The Word told me what to do! It taught me The Fear Of The LORD! It showed me the narrow way to freedom. I obeyed and was healed! Through confession and repentance of my sins of unforgiveness, bitterness, resentments, judgments, pride and unbelief, I’ve been set free and have remained free these 5 years!
Do I do it right all of the time? No. But when my heart convicts me, I go to God and ask Him to show me my sin. He does, and I repent! That is the walk of sanctification; it’s how we stay on the narrow path!
“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Matthew 7:13-14 KJV
“Few there be that find it” - it’s lonely and often we walk alone, but so did Jesus. Even if no one walks with us, we must pick up our cross and follow Him!
“Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.” Matthew 16:24 KJV
“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” 1 John 2:15 KJV
Please, please, please read your Bible! The Truth WILL set you free!
