So are we.
We fight for control over our pitiful lives; walking in worry and fear. Our unbelief keeping us from the victory we claim. The only control we have is to whom we give our trust.
When we choose to relinquish all control to The Creator of the universe, we "turn" from our wicked ways; from living like the world!
"But", you say, "what evil do I do?"
"I go to church. I teach Sunday school. I sing in the choir. I've gone on mission trips." "I even clean the church monthly!"
You can do all of these things and more, and your heart be far from The LORD!
You can pray until you are blue in the face, yet if you are unwilling to "turn" from the evil hidden in your heart, it is all for naught!
It's ALL about repentance!
It's all about the sin hidden in your heart!
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV
But we are deceived as to what "SIN" is!
The denominations do not preach repentance from sin, nor what constitutes "sin"! They preach "Love!” It is not very loving to send your congregation to hell!
Example: “For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
Matthew 6:14-15 KJV
Unforgiven people are not in heaven.
Unforgiveness is sin. You say, "Well I have "forgiven!" But have you repented? Have you sought forgiveness for the sin in your heart of bitterness, judgment, unforgiveness? Have you repented for not forgiving those who have hurt you and those you have hurt? Have you repented for the worry and fear you have spoken day after day, in unbelief of God's capabilities? Have you repented for loving the things of the world more than God? Have you repented of your pride that keeps you from humbling yourself?
See, we have it all wrong! You cannot "ask Jesus into your heart" think you are "saved", and live like you always did! Being a Follower of The Lord Jesus Christ, is turning and changing! His Followers are different!
Because the church is just like the world (no change), He WILL NOT heal our land! He will not relent!
“At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it; If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them. And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it; If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.” Jeremiah 18:7-10 KJV
The future of our country rests on every so-called believer's heart, not which politician we elect! No man on this earth can save our nation, only God, but it all hinges on you!
You repent!
Then you pray!
Before it's too late!
But don't do it for you. Don't do it for your children or your grandchildren. Do it for God! He deserves our obedience; our adoration; our love! Repent for no other reason than for Him!

We are His reward!
