The Spirit Of The LORD

"“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.” And they shall rebuild the old ruins, They shall raise up the former desolations, And they shall repair the ruined cities, The desolations of many generations."(Isaiah‬ ‭61‬:‭1-4‬ NKJV)

"And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written: “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.” Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him. And He began to say to them, “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”" (‭Luke‬ ‭4‬:‭17-21‬ NKJV)

And He did all of that for me!

He opened my eyes! He set me free! He gave me beauty for ashes! He healed my broken heart and gave me joy! Everything He said He would do, He did!

And He used someone, for which He had done the same!

Now, I too, can't help but proclaim the Good News that He will do it, also for you!

So, if you have tried everything else and found no comfort, no remedy, no future; there is One on whom, of which you can set your hope! He is waiting for you to say, I surrender!

When we come to the end of ourselves THAT is when we find Him!

Give up!

Repent from your sin and make Him LORD!

Even so - MARANATHA!
