What kingdom is in you?
“And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it. And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.” Luke 17:22-23 KJV
Who do you follow?
Even those who are unbelievers see that we are in the last days. The church as a whole is deceived and is looking for and celebrating the physical instead of spiritual! Seeking signs and wonders and following the man and denomination instead of God! Deceived into thinking that what they want is what God wants! Expecting to gain all with no sacrifice of their own because "Jesus did it all"; so they don't have to suffer!
God knew we would be here and we would face these tests! He even gave us the answers as in an "open-book test", because He wants us to pass!
Clues:
"for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.”
"go not after them, nor follow them.”
He's saying it is a heart issue and to guard your heart!
Who or what rules your heart?
If anything or anybody is above Him in your heart you are not fit for the Kingdom!
“Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.” Luke 18:17 KJV
It's a matter of trusting Him, even when the things you see, tell you otherwise! Choosing to trust God and be obedient to His Word even when (the devil tells you) you have every reason not to!
“And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.” Luke 18:27 KJV
It's a "knowing" that you are willing to die for! (Mind you I did not say kill for, but die for! There is a huge difference!)
“And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake, Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.” Luke 18:29-30 KJV
It's forsaking all you hold dear to follow Him! And not looking back!
It's giving up all of you - so He can live in you; do His work through you!
This life is not about here and now - it's about eternity and you've only got one shot!
He's shown you the way! Pointed you down the road, given you all the answers to The Test, but will you pass?
You'd better seek Him with all your heart and study His Word, to find out!
Do not trust what your church says. Do not trust what your denomination says. Do not trust what some preacher says. Get your Bible out and see for yourself!
There is more to following God than saying some words and going to church for so many years!
“The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.” Luke 18:11-14 KJV
Lay down your pride! Repent of your sins! Ask God to open your eyes, open your ears, and change your heart! If you seek Him, you will find Him! But you'd better get with it, for time is running out!
It's all about Jesus -
It's all about eternity!
Repent!
