Thus Says

"Thus says the LORD of hosts: “Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They make you worthless; They speak a vision of their own heart, Not from the mouth of the LORD. They continually say to those who despise Me, ‘The LORD has said, “You shall have peace” ’; And to everyone who walks according to the dictates of his own heart, they say, ‘No evil shall come upon you.’ ”

"The anger of the LORD will not turn back Until He has executed and performed the thoughts of His heart. In the latter days you will understand it perfectly. “I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran. I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied." (‭Jeremiah‬ ‭23‬:‭16-17, 20-22‬ NKJV)

"But if they had stood in My counsel, And had caused My people to hear My words, Then they would have turned them from their evil way And from the evil of their doings."

Read it again!

"But if they had stood in My counsel, And had caused My people to hear My words, Then they would have turned them from their evil way And from the evil of their doings."

If your favorite preacher is not preaching repentance of sin, then he is NOT preaching the Word of God! If he is not pointing you to the cross and telling you that it will cost you to be a Follower of Jesus, then he is preaching a different gospel! 

"Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They make you worthless;"

Worthless, lukewarm, deceived; words that describe most who attend church these latter days! 

"For false christs and false prophets will rise and show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect." (‭Mark‬ ‭13‬:‭22‬ NKJV)

If your church is observing signs and wonders, but NOT preaching repentance of sin, then it is not from The LORD! 

As in days of old, when The Lord shows up NO ONE can stand before Him! Fear and trembling are present in His presence!

"so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD filled the house of God."

(II Chronicles‬ ‭5‬:‭14‬ NKJV)

Beware you who are seeking The LORD without willingness to humble yourself! He will humble you!

"For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”" (‭Luke‬ ‭14‬:‭11‬ NKJV)

"But He answered and said to them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah." (‭Matthew‬ ‭12‬:‭39‬ NKJV)

Do not seek the sign! 

"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."(‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭33‬ NKJV)

"“Therefore behold, I am against the prophets,” says the LORD, “who steal My words every one from his neighbor. Behold, I am against the prophets,” says the LORD, “who use their tongues and say, ‘He says.’ Behold, I am against those who prophesy false dreams,” says the LORD, “and tell them, and cause My people to err by their lies and by their recklessness. Yet I did not send them or command them; therefore they shall not profit this people at all,” says the LORD." (‭Jeremiah‬ ‭23‬:‭30-32‬ NKJV)

If He is against the prophets that speak lies, He will also be against those who willingly listen and believe.

Pray, "LORD open my eyes, that I may not be deceived! Change my heart and bring me to repentance! Forgive my lukewarmness! Turn me back to You LORD, that I may follow You all my days!"

Humble yourself and repent!
