And I Sought

“And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.” ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭22:30‬ ‭KJV‬

When a life hangs in the balance, we are called to stand in the gap.

“And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭18:38‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When one cannot cry for mercy, we cry for them!

“For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭9:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

A just and merciful God will hear those who cry day and night for one who cannot or even would not cry for mercy! He hears the cry of his children!

“O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.” Psalms‬ ‭136:1-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Father we beg for mercy for one and plead for You to change a cold hard heart for only You can perform this wonder!

“Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.” Ezekiel‬ ‭36:25-27‬ ‭KJV‬‬

You have done it before; raising the dead - we beg for this life; turn and revive; breath Your breath upon him; call him out of darkness; bring him into Your Light! Save him to the uttermost! 

“Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.” Hebrews‬ ‭7:25‬ ‭KJV‬‬
